Baton Rouge Community College (BRCC) seeks to fill the position of Adjunct Faculty - Speech Communication is located in the Division of Liberal Arts. This is a part-time position, and is open for recruitment.

**COMPENSATION:**
**Salary:** $833.33 per credit course taught
**Estimated Hours per Week:** **3 - 9**
**Dates/Times -** Day, night and weekend classes; various times available

**Minimum Qualifications**
**Minimum Qualifications:**
Master's degree in speech, speech communication, or communication studies; or master's degree in any discipline with 18 graduate semester hours in speech, speech communication, and/or communication studies.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
College-level teaching experience.
**Job Concepts**
Adjunct Faculty members are responsible for teaching courses as assigned. Adjunct Faculty may teach in the evening, weekends, online and dual enrollment courses as needed. Faculty are expected to support the institution's mission and vision and abide by the Faculty Handbook and college-wide policies. Adjunct Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching discipline Adjunct Faculty report directly to the academic program manager and/or department chair within their respective departments and divisions.
