Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.Position SummaryThis Digital Design and Communication Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and editing graphics and documentation for the purpose of position and informational distribution for the Long Beach Red Shield. Additionally, this position is responsible for the communication of information through multiple mediums, including but not limited to, websites, emails, text-messaging, social media, and verbally.Essential FunctionsDevelop graphics and layouts on multiple mediums for distribution (this includes, but is not limited to, posters, catalogs, flyers, mailings, and digital graphics)Edit content to be distributed through multiple portals of communicationMonitor communications on various digital platformsOversee a queueing method for content creation from multiple departmentsCalendar projects and activities as assignedAssist in the development of digital campaigns and projects as assignedTake photos as required or assignedMust be able to verbally communicate with various members of the community through phone or in person.All other duties assigned within the scope of the positionPAY RANGE: $20.00-$22.00/HRWorking ConditionsAbility to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone.
