Xdesign is hiring: Content Creator in Baton Rouge

We are seeking someone that is obsessed with Social Media to join our team. The ideal candidate has a creative, strategic mind, knows their way around a phone and can turn any photo or video into engaging social media content.   

This is an in-office position in Baton Rouge, LA. 

Responsibilities: 

• Actively capture original content, including high-quality photos and videos, tailored to reflect each client’s brand and voice.
• Develop engaging social media posts from scratch, transforming ideas into visually appealing, scroll-stopping content.
• Strategically plan, shoot, and edit content that resonates with target audiences across various social media platforms. 
• Utilize trending formats, styles, and concepts, adapting them to fit each client’s tone and brand identity.
• Curate and create cohesive posts, stories, and reels using both new and existing assets, ensuring all content is fresh and relevant.
• Plan and manage content calendars, thoughtfully scheduling posts to optimize reach and engagement.
• Write captivating captions and develop visual narratives that capture and retain audience attention.
• Actively monitor social trends, creatively applying them to original content that aligns with client goals.
• Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to maintain brand consistency across all channels.
• Use editing tools, such as Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva, to enhance visuals, add graphics, and produce polished final content.
• Track content performance, using insights to refine and elevate future posts and strategies for maximum impact.
• Ensure all content reflects the client’s voice, visual style, and strategic objectives, creating a cohesive and recognizable brand presence.

• Experience: Strong knowledge of social media platforms whether through brands you have worked with or at minimum your own personal social media accounts.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing a range of brands that demonstrate your content creation capabilities. 
• Creativity: Exceptional creative and innovative thinking abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively.
• Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to find creative solutions to unique challenges.
