Position: Sales Design Consultant

Job Type: Full-time

Commission Based with minimum guarantee: Potential Annual Earnings up to $130,000

Schedule: 5 day workweek, including weekends

Summary

Our successful Sales Design Consultants are energetic, motivated, and creative. This role is the face of Scan Design and the bridge between the client and the company. The Sales Design Consultant serves clients one on one, builds relationships, and creates beautiful projects, while providing excellent customer service at every step.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Create and assist clients with design projects
  • Select components from our collection to create a unique and purposeful space for each client
  • Formulate solutions to satisfy client's needs
  • Prepare sketches using Sketch Up / Floor Planner software for client presentation.
  • Write accurate sales orders which include explaining terms of sale and obtaining client signatures.
  • Follow up with clients after delivery to ensure and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Conduct client home visits to measure spaces, introduce options, and maximize project work
  • Create and maintain positive and professional client, vendor, and coworker relationships both inside and outside the store.
  • Assist sales manager and/or warehouse manager with floor changes
  • Use FROG system to enter and maintain sales
  • Act in a professional manor with respect for clients and coworkers
  • Perform light cleaning to make sure that every client has an inspired experience in the store
  • Maintain a professional appearance that is fitting of both the environment in which we work and respectful of the clients
  • Permanent or temporary duties as assigned by supervisor


Requirements

  • Previous experience in interior design or other related fields
  • Proven sales experience, high-end (preferred)
  • Client-centric approach and ability to exceed expectations
  • Familiarity with Sketch Up, Photoshop, AutoCAD, or other design software (preferred but not required)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual is a plus
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • Valid driver's license
