Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and developing new sales opportunities: This involves researching and identifying potential clients and creating strategies to convert them into customers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and positive referrals.
  • Conducting product presentations and demonstrations: You must be able to explain the features and benefits of our products to potential clients in a clear and concise manner.
  • Negotiating and closing deals: You must be skilled at negotiating and closing deals to ensure that sales goals are met.
  • Collaborating with internal teams: You need to work closely with internal teams, including marketing, production, and logistics, to ensure that client needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Providing exceptional customer service: You must be able to provide exceptional customer service, including responding to inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing post-sale support.
  • Staying up to date with industry trends: You must stay informed about industry trends and innovations to make informed recommendations to our clients.
  • Meeting sales goals: You would be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales goals set by the company.
  • Maintaining accurate records: You must maintain accurate records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales orders.
  • Attending local industry trade shows and events: You must attend industry trade shows and events to network with potential clients and stay informed about industry developments.
  • Overall, a successful team member in the Design Consultant position needs to be customer-focused, results-driven, and able to work collaboratively with internal teams. They must have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be able to work independently or collectively, and have a strong understanding of the industry and its products.

Requirements & Qualifications:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Team mentality: Dedication to being a supportive team member. Our employee happiness and culture are top priority.
  • Sales experience: At least 2-5 years of experience in sales and ability to demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales goals and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Product knowledge: A deep understanding of the products in the tile and slab industry. You should be able to answer client questions about the features and benefits of different types of slabs and tile, as well as provide recommendations based on the client’s needs.
  • Communication skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should be able to articulate the value of products in a clear and concise manner and be able to negotiate effectively with clients.
  • Customer service skills: A strong customer service orientation.
