Job Description
RH Strategic seeks a dynamic and versatile content writer to create, manage and uplevel the production of content across multiple channels for our clients and the firm. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established public relations agency with a robust client portfolio across the technology, security, healthcare, sustainability and education industries.
This is an in-office role, 3 days per week.
Qualified applicants will have 4-6 years of writing experience, familiarity creating numerous forms of content, a rigor for process and details, and a flair for creative ideas and storytelling. This role is ideal for someone with specific experience writing for a B2B audience and/or within a communications department (at an agency or client side).
As a Content Writer, you have:
- 4+ years’ experience writing high-quality content; managing content creation process from end-to-end; telling stories using words, images, and video.
- Strong editing, proofing, spelling and grammar skills, mastery of AP Style, well-versed in tone and voice.
- Outstanding organization and project management skills: detail oriented, deadline driven and responsive, ability to effectively manage multiple projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to give and receive clear and high-quality feedback that is actionable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Responsibilities:
- Create and edit content deliverables such as, but not limited to, blogs, bylines, case studies, whitepapers, social media copy (organic and paid), web copy, speeches, testimony, newsletters.
- Adhere to brand guidelines and standards.
- Providing actionable feedback to improve quality, clarity, and impact.
- Headline writing and the ability to quickly engage the audience (and the algorithm).
- Create and manage editorial calendars.
- Ability to operate efficiently in multiple content roles, including but not limited to producing original content from concept to completion and supporting SMEs with guidance and project management.
- Collaborate closely with SMEs, focusing on listening and receiving feedback to understand the story.
- Creativity and ability to ideate.
- Contribute to internal writing/editing training efforts.
- Support of content development for digital platforms (video, podcast, social, web, etc.).
Preferred:
- Experience with applications within the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with content project management tools such as Asana and Monday.com.
- Experience working within a public relations agency.
Salary: $55,000-$75,000 annually.
This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. The Company may, in its discretion, also offer an annual bonus in an amount, if any, to be determined by the Company. Bonuses are not guaranteed.
