Job Summary:

Cornerstone Technologies has an opening in the video department for a combined position of Streaming/Audio Visual Technician. The main responsibilities of this role are to provide daily pre/post-production work on all video department equipment in a warehouse setting and travel onsite to events as assigned. In collaboration with key stakeholders, the operator will prepare shows and rentals in the warehouse by scanning items to be loaded for shipping. When equipment from shows is returned to the warehouse, the operator will scan it and provide necessary maintenance before returning it to the shelf.

This role will also provide media support for both large and small events, including video streaming, video conferencing, video playback, and video recording. The position will be responsible for executing the technical needs for streaming and other A/V technician responsibilities as assigned.

• Reporting: The candidate will report to the Video Manager at Cornerstone.
• Work Schedule: The candidate must be willing to work a very flexible schedule that might include early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be willing to work Overtime
• Location: Work location is in person in American Fork, Utah, with up %50 travel.

Job Functions:

• Provide service-oriented, high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Set up, run, and take down video department equipment for general sessions and breakout meetings.
• Support streaming platforms as a subject matter expert to ensure correct content delivery.
• Operate equipment to produce, stream, and embed in-person and hybrid events.
• Provide cross-training to other team members for team development.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm and interact diplomatically with staff and clients in a fluid live show environment.
• Minimum of two years of technical experience producing high-profile streaming events.
• Responsiveness to changing requirements of live streaming productions.
• Physical capability of lifting up to 50 lbs. and prolonged standing and walking.
• Understanding of OBS, vMix, Wirecast, and similar platforms.
• Knowledge of streaming protocols: NDI, RTMP, SRT, WebRTC.
• Understanding of IP and network protocols.
• Experience with computer-based streaming production tools, encoders, and Content Distribution Networks.
• Experience in developing and deploying video signal distribution.
• Ability to perform basic preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of video equipment.
• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and cross-train other team members.
• Knowledge of Mac and PC computers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Professional use of Epiphan Pearl line of products.
• Professional use of Vimeo Enterprise streaming services.
• Experience using Flex5 inventory tracking system.
• Interest in the growth of SMPTE ST 2110 and IMPX.
