Surface Experts is a national brand that is in the process of growing our local team. We are looking for a person to fill our field technician role. Both men and women make great Surface Experts techs, but there are a few requirements that help us determine whether someone will have the skill set to be able to learn quickly.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:


In the Field Daily

• On the jobsite for 4+ customers per day
• On-site Work Orders, customer service, and follow-ups
• Working for a variety of customers in different industries including Apartments, Hotels, Movers, Builders, etc.
  
  

Customer Service and Communication

• Display world-class customer service for tenants and property management staff
• Track work progress and notes in our CRM/Dispatch tool
• Communicate with support team with questions
  
  

Follow Repair Process

• Understand and utilize our unique 5-step repair process
• Employ each tool in your custom tool-kit
• Problem-solve repairs with creativity
  
  

We repair damages to vinyl, tile, granite, tubs and showers, plus other surfaces found in an apartment or home. Work indoors and stay out of the heat! NO NIGHTS OR WEEKENDS!!

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with your hands - This could be in construction, manufacturing, painting, or even a personal hobby
• Successful candidates may have previous experience with bathtub refinishing, house painting, or auto-body repair.
• Experience working with hand tools like a drill, Dremel, airbrush, and painting equipment can be a big plus, but is not required
• Understanding color and how to match color is a large part of what we do. An art background is helpful, but not necessary.
• Willingness to commit to learning a skill that may take some time to master.
