Picasso & Wine is a locally owned Paint & Sip Art Studio located in Reno, NV. We offer 2-3 hour art classes to the public and host private events for groups and businesses. Our studio provides a full bar serving wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a fun and creative atmosphere for all participants.
Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for an Art Instructor-Assistant at Picasso & Wine in Reno, NV. You will need to have the ability to command an audience and guide customers through a step-by-step painting in 2-3 hours. Set up and clean up at events. Contribute new classes/workshops.
Must always be reliable, punctual and presentable.
Experience in art/painting or teaching experience is preferred. Must be at least 21 years old.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching preferred but not required
- Strong background in acrylic painting
- Passion for creating and sharing art with others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a social and interactive environment
- Previous experience in art instruction is a plus
- Art education or related field is beneficial
