Akkodis is seeking a AV Project Manager for a audio/visual position with a client located in Phoenix, AZ. The AV PM will be responsible for driving installation efficiency that ensures maximum job profitability. Continuously monitor project deliverables and drive them for resolution while ensuring all stakeholders are routinely updated.


Pay/Salary Range: $80,000/yr - $90,000/yr


Essential functions

  • Determine, from review of various information, necessary changes in design, contract price, installation plan or other activity. Works with engineering and sales department to resolve any scope and/or design issues
  • Analyze and define the project management process and sub process for efficiency
  • Working closely with assigned Project Coordinator and Foreman to ensure all projects have redundancy within the Project Management team
  • Provide direction to the Foreman for the creation and/or modification of Project Work Plans/Tasks
  • Plan and oversee all engineering, installation, programming, commissioning, and subcontracting activities on all assigned projects
  • Facilitate all requested change orders by working with the Engineering team and then presenting the change orders to the client for approval
  • Provide clear direction to the Procurement Team for when materials, supplies and services are due. Also provides clear direction on when materials need to be delivered to job site
  • Monitor construction schedules and coordinates task scheduling with other trades

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business communications and contracts.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.


Supervisory responsibilities: None

Work environment: Office and some construction sites

Physical demands: Sitting for long periods of time, walking and lifting up to 20 lbs.

Travel required: Local to walk job sites and client visits

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree required
  • 5 years of audiovisual integration experience
  • Working knowledge of construction fundamentals
  • Working experience with job financial reports
  • Prior scheduling experience
  • Proficient in MS Office

Preferred education and experience

  • PMI – PMP Certification desired
  • AVIXA CTS certification desired
