WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Content Strategist is responsible for the timely development and delivery of consistent, high-quality content and for overseeing all the moving pieces from ideation and production to distribution and analysis. The Content Strategist ensures that products meet and exceed the highest standards and owns the successes and failures of content. This role must constantly create new value for customers, not just tweaking and optimizing existing products; but rather developing each product to reach its full potential. The Content Strategist must have a deep understanding of the market, customer needs, competition, and topic/subject matter.
WHERE YOU'LL WORK
This position will work hybrid out of our Leawood, KS or Burlington, MA office.Remote candidates will be considered.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME
Source and develop content for assigned products, including the planning, and scheduling of new materials and revisions from inception through product release.Establish expertise in assigned products; provide content information to Product Management and Stakeholders as needed.Manage the budget for assigned products.Evaluate content needs by surveying target customers, analyzing competing products, and evaluating peer review feedback.Manage product plan for on-time development and release, including all course derivatives.Ensure all content stakeholders execute against agreed-upon tasks. Stakeholders include: subject matter experts, reviewers, contributors, partner organizations, and freelancers. Remediate behavior for stakeholders that are not performing against day-to-day expectations.Collaborate with internal production stakeholder to address issues and remediate errors introduced to a project by production vendors.Manage tactical aspects of partner relationships, including schedules, content development guidance, and monitoring deliverables.WHAT YOU'LL NEED
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience3+ years of experience with educational product content development processExperience with instructional design or SAFe training is a plusBENEFITS
