We are currently looking to fill a Content Editor position at L2TMedia!
Job Summary
The Content Editor works closely with fellow Content Editors, Content Supervisor, Customer Success Team, and SEO Specialists to deliver compliant, high-quality content to a list of clients. The Content Editor will manage all content for a list of multiple OEM and Non-OEM/Non-Key SEO campaigns. The Content Editor is responsible for ensuring the content that they are providing assists in increasing organic traffic and search engine visibility for their clients.

Job Summary

The Content Editor will manage all content for a list of multiple OEM and Non-OEM/Non-Key SEO campaigns. The Content Editor is responsible for ensuring the content that they are providing assists in increasing organic traffic and search engine visibility for their clients.
Responsibilities
- Edits all freelance submissions for brand compliance, grammar, spelling, and style
- Acts as a contact for the freelance writing team: ensuring quality standards and deadlines are upheld and providing writers with assistance when needed.
- Assists with onboarding and training new writers
- Manages a list of clients and acts as a go-to source for those clients’ online publishing and SEO copy-related needs
- Proactively follows up on content needs (edits and rewrites, information needed from clients to service requests, and complete the onboarding of new accounts) to deliver client content on deadline
- Identifies areas of improvement and opportunities for greater efficiency in current team structure and processes, as well as potential product improvements
- Collaborates with Sales, Digital Advisors, and SEO Specialists to determine strategy for each SEO client’s content needs
- Assists Marketing and other teams with copywriting, editing, and other content-related tasks
Education Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or similar field desired
Required Skills
- Manages time effectively; meets and adheres to deadlines for multiple ongoing projects
- Must have strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, and Dropbox
- Must be self-motivated and effective working independently, yet comfortable and accountable in a team environment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Pays close attention to detail, and has the ability to edit various types of copy quickly and with accuracy
- Must have a solid foundation in the best practices of online publishing, particularly blogging
- Quick to adapt; a proactive and creative problem solver
- 1-2 years of related experience
Preferred Skills
- Journalism, editorial, and/or copywriting background preferred
- SEO experience is a big plus
