Job SummaryThe Digital Signage Content Manager will oversee the creation, scheduling, deployment, and management of content across FGCU's digital signage network, ensuring all content is accurate, high-quality, and aligned with brand standards. Manages content creation, curation and optimization across various digital platforms including digital displays, wayfinding signage and directories across campus. Collaborates closely with internal teams and clients to streamline content workflows and deliver seamless content experiences.

Job DescriptionTypical duties may include but are not limited to:Develops and executes comprehensive digital content strategy and processes aligned with organizational goals and target audience needs.Responsible for managing the scheduling of content across our digital signage networks and ensuring the accuracy and quality of all content prior to deployment.Establishes governance and guidelines to ensure the digital signage system is used effectively, securely and aligns with university goals and policies.Ensures all content complies with legal, regulatory, and brand standards.Collaborates closely with internal teams and clients to streamline content workflows and deliver seamless content experiences.Manages the content calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery across all digital signage channels.Collaborates with marketing, design, and IT teams to ensure content consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.Monitors content performance using analytics tools and adjusts strategies based on data insights to improve overall effectiveness.Ensures content is visually appealing, accurate and up to date.Monitors and responds to client feedback, comments, and inquiries in a timely manner.Creates high-quality, engaging content, including events, campus and marketing messages, videos, infographics, RSS feeds, emergency messaging and other digital assets.Manages and updates content across digital platforms, including digital display signs, wayfinding signage and directories.Develops and maintains content schedules based on client requirements, marketing initiatives, and promotional campaigns.Maintains, manages, and organizes content libraries, including asset tagging, version control, and metadata management.Other Duties:Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Additional Job DescriptionRequired Qualifications:This position requires either six years of directly related full-time experience

or, as an alternative,

a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of full-time experience directly related to the job functions.Full-time experience in content management, digital marketing, digital signage, or closely related fields.Proven experience in content management or digital signage operations.Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Publisher and Outlook).Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator) and video editing software (Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc.)Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications may be considered.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, digital media, or related field.Proficiency with digital signage software platforms (e.g. Uniquest, BrightSign, Scala, etc.) or relevant content management systems.Familiarity with graphic design principles and multimedia content formats.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:Knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations pertaining to the position.Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.Knowledge of digital marketing strategies and best practices.Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects within deadlines.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.Ability to thrive in an organization that values the diversity of its student body and workforce and actively promotes an equitable environment.Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work successfully as both a member of a team and independently with minimal supervision.Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions to complex issues.Ability to adapt to new technologies and techniques.Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrated ability to act independently upon information and make decisions that achieve optimal results.Pay Grade: 16
