The award-winning in-house agency team for PepsiCo Foods, affectionately called D3, is hiring again! We are growing rapidly with a dynamic team that includes Creative, Account Service, Strategy, Ops, Production, Social, Digital, Cause, and Partnership experts providing full-service creative agency work for the PepsiCo Foods North American portfolio.

The D3 team is a full-service creative agency that supports the PepsiCo Foods North America business, working on iconic brands like Lays, Doritos, Tostitos, Smartfood, Capn Crunch and Quaker (to name just a few!).

Currently, the D3 team is searching for a seasoned, conceptual Associate Create Director - Copywriter to join a high-performing team that leads marketing efforts for the likes of Capn Crunch, Quaker Chewy, Life, Rice-A-Roni, Bare, Health Warrior, and HiLo while also serving as the social AOR for Quaker Masterbrand and Pearl Milling Company. The ideal candidate is a highly strategic, versatile wordsmith with a can-do attitude who delights in details and is lights-out in a room. Someone who hasnt just contributed to campaigns but created them. Someone with a portfolio that showcases a breadth and depth of thinking across a variety of marketing verticals and target audiences.



Responsibilities:

The newly established position will be responsible for leading insight-driven creative development across the wide portfolio of brands the team supports. They will be leading strategy, brainstorming, and ideation sessions, developing brand platforms and campaigns, creating content, and helping foster the growth of other creative personnel. A successful ACD within D3 is a humble, hands-on leader who can inspire marketing stakeholders with their vision and execute it flawlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the ideation, development, and execution of strategic, insight-driven creative across a variety of touchpoints
  • Collaborate with team of account managers and creative staff from concept development to delivery of final product
  • Nurture the continued growth and development of direct reports, and serve as an informal leader to the entire creative team
  • Own presented copy concepts and final deliverables to client representatives and leads client pitches
  • Foster relationships with clients throughout the PepsiCo Foods US organization
  • Review, enhance, and approve copy and concepts developed by other team members
  • Manage and supervise multiple projects and teams (internal and external)
  • Develop brand platforms and campaigns aligned with client briefs
  • Aid in content creation across multiple platforms including social

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $102,800 - $172,100 based on a full-time schedule.
  • Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary.
  • Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.
  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree required. Concentration in Marketing, Communications and/or New Media preferred
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of professional strategic and tactical multi-channel marketing experience in an agency setting
  • Experience working within CPG Food and Beverage industry preferred
  • Experience successfully managing multiple direct reports and leading teams
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Experience and strong understanding of marketing campaign development and execution across all touchpoints
  • Experience with content creation across social and influencer platforms like Meta, TikTok, and X
  • Strong consumer empathy & customer-centricity. Demonstrated ability to place the consumer at the heart of everything
  • Advanced understanding of marketing strategy and ability to develop social media marketing tactics that deliver on brand objectives
  • Ability to tell a story, synthesize and convey key messages in a dynamic and compelling way (both externally to consumers and internally to key stakeholders)
  • Ability to bring a brand voice to life across a variety of touchpoints
  • Ability to motivate others to creatively and strategically solve multiple problems at once, under quick deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and account teams
  • Collaborative attitude with strong interdepartmental communication skills
  • Self-starter with eagerness to learn and grow
  • Entrepreneurial mindset willingness to roll up your sleeves and get creative with their team
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint
