OverviewShive-Hattery's Iowa City IA office has an immediate opening for an entry level Design Professional - Architecture.Check out some of our recent work featuring the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and many more.Under the direction of the Studio Leader, this position performs a variety of duties associated with design expertise primarily on K12 and Public Sector projects and related services to assist in achieving desired client satisfaction and business results. Participation in applicable AIA, NCARB, and/or community activities is preferred.Responsibilities:Participate and contribute to design discussions, idea generation, collaboration, and design work in drawing, model, and 3D image formats.Production and coordination of design process and technical documents under the direction of a licensed design professional.Creation of graphical images.Design and detailing in Revit.Attend project and client meetings with design professionals.Interact with and be a representative of the company with clients and contractors as it relates to ongoing projects.Why Shive-Hattery?You will find the right balance at Shive-Hattery. Strong working knowledge of Autodesk Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Google SketchUp is required.
