We are seeking a skilled Senior AV Programmer with extensive experience in AMX and Crestron systems to support mission-critical operations for the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C. This role is vital in maintaining and optimizing our communication infrastructure to ensure seamless functionality. The position is fully onsite, with core hours between 6 AM and 6 PM EDT, and may have potential for placement in Reston, VA.

What you will do:
- Oversee and execute advanced programming for AMX and Crestron systems, configuring and optimizing a wide range of AV equipment to support seamless operations across various environments.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade AV systems to ensure high-quality performance and reliability, particularly for virtual and in-person meetings via VTC and MS Teams, resolving issues swiftly to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the design, integration, and rollout of new AV systems, contributing to building projects and upgrading existing setups with innovative solutions.
- Provide hands-on support and tailored training to end-users, empowering them to confidently utilize AV technologies and troubleshoot basic issues independently.
- Travel occasionally within the DMV area for on-site installations, support, and system enhancements, ensuring robust AV setups and smooth operations at every site.
What you will bring:
- Must have an active TS/SCI clearance, with the ability to pass a CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or related field, or equivalent through an apprenticeship and work experience.
- Certifications in AMX, Crestron, or related AV technologies (e.g., CTS-D, CBNE).
- 10 years in AV systems with senior-level expertise in AMX programming, demonstrating in-depth technical knowledge and hands-on experience in complex AV environments.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and project management skills to lead and execute projects effectively.
- Exceptional customer service approach, ensuring clear communication and positive interactions with end-users.
- Proficiency in additional programming platforms such as Extron or Biamp is highly beneficial, enhancing adaptability across AV systems.
