The agency is recognized by the Forrester Wave Reports, which named WPP as a “Leader” in Commerce Services, Global Digital Experience Services, Global Marketing Services and, most recently, Marketing Measurement & Optimization.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITYWe’re looking for a Community Manager to work on a major Tech Brand to build and retain engagement across our social channels focusing on B2C engagement across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other Social Channels.This role will be Weekend Work Only - Saturdays and Sundays - 16 hours a weekThis can be 100% remote, but will require the individual to work PST hoursYou will have exceptional oral and written communication skills and be able to develop engaging content. You should have the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community and act as the face and voice of the brand, managing all community communications.Setting and implementing social media and communication campaigns to align with marketing strategies.Understanding and implementing the brand POV while confidently responding and connecting with followers.Being proactive and seeking out new and unique opportunities for the brand to connect with customers and creators.Working with the creative team to provide engaging text, image, and video content for social media accounts.Monitoring and reporting on feedback and online reviews.Coordinating with relevant departments and teams to ensure brand consistency.Liaising with brand departments to stay updated on new products and features.Building and managing relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally.Staying up-to-date with digital technology trends.Experience launching initiatives (e.g., building an online forum, launching an ambassador program, creating an event series, and writing an email newsletter).Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g., repeat attendance at events).Excellent verbal communication skills.Excellent writing skills.Hands-on experience with social media management for brands.Ability to interpret website traffic and online customer engagement metrics.Knowledge of online marketing and marketing channels.Attention to detail and ability to multitask.SUCCESS CRITERIAWithin 1-2+ years achieve double-digit top-line growth for prioritized existing client portfolio social media channel audiences.Social media growth for your existing clients at company average or above.Trackable contribution to social media pipeline generation.Accurate and timely forecasting and reporting on activities and existing client social media channels and engagements.Experience working with social listening tools and content publishing tools.Experience with Sprinklr a plus.Positive feedback from internal stakeholders and delivery organization on collaboration, communication, and motivation abilities.THE IDEAL CANDIDATEWill possess an entrepreneurial spirit, thriving with a certain level of uncertainty and autonomy while managing to navigate among multiple stakeholders (internally and externally) to secure structured and successful social media engagements and grow target audiences.Personality and approach: Collaborative, positive, result-driven, energetic, self-driven, ethical, empathetic, robust, daring, executional (can-do - get things done attitude).Strong communication, motivational, and active listening skills.Culturally aligned with VML values, culture, and guiding principles.VML is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity and to attracting and retaining the most qualified employees regardless of race, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender, age, or disability.
