Summary
The Content Specialist serves as the key driver for managing and optimizing email marketing campaigns, particularly within the B2B segment. With 3-4 years of experience in content creation and email marketing, this role owns the strategy, creation, execution, and analysis of all email communications. Additionally, the Content Specialist is responsible for the maintenance and organization of digital content across various platforms, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with overall marketing objectives. This role will also collaborate closely with Erica on B2B initiatives, managing orders and supporting the growth of the B2B business.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Own and manage all aspects of email marketing: Strategize, design, and execute B2B email campaigns, including drafting copy, setting up automation, and managing segmentation to drive engagement and conversions.
Collaborate on B2B initiatives: Work closely with Ecommerce Operations, Specialty, and Commercial to support B2B initiatives through email support.
Create and manage email content: Develop compelling email content, including subject lines, body copy, and CTAs, ensuring all communications are aligned with brand voice and marketing goals.
Analyze and optimize email performance: Track and report on key email metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement of email campaigns.
Oversee digital content management: Ensure the timely placement and accuracy of content across websites, verifying all links, copy, and creative assets, and maintaining a streamlined process for content updates.
Maintain internal content systems: Organize and update digital assets in content management systems, ensuring easy retrieval and alignment with the content calendar.
Assist in process improvement: Contribute to refining processes related to content creation, organization, distribution, and repurposing across platforms.
Quality assurance: Ensure all content meets technical and creative specifications before deployment.
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
3-4 years of experience in content marketing, with a strong emphasis on email marketing.
Proficiency in Email Service Providers like Klaviyo, and experience with content management systems such as Salsify and Cloudinary.
Special qualifications or skills
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Creative problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
