As the Americas Assurance Communications and Engagement Leader, you will develop and set direction for essential Assurance communications programs aligned to the Assurance service line’s overarching strategic goals and priorities. This is an outstanding opportunity for a strong communicator who thrives in a consultative role and excels at developing and executing multi-channel campaigns to maximize awareness, engagement, audience reach, and impact.Your key responsibilitiesWork closely with Americas Assurance leadership to design and execute internal and external communications strategies to support the Assurance service line’s business priorities.Develop communications strategies and plans, including annual planning, calendars, and timelines for Americas Assurance.Craft, cultivate, and own leadership voices for the Transformation Office, Quality, Talent, and related leaders across a broad range of organizational channels and deliverables.Collaborate with the Assurance BMC leaders to shape leadership messaging.Create campaign deliverables, monitor effectiveness, and make iterative changes as needed by leading and coaching high-performing teams.Oversee channels management, including delivery of the weekly Taking our Business Forward newsletter.Build and maintain strong relationships with the sub-service lines through collaboration with the operations leaders and the individuals responsible for communications.Manage relationships with the broader BMC network; effectively articulate business needs and KPIs to brief and engage outside vendors.Oversee the daily activities of the Assurance BMC Communications team as they work closely with Marketing, Business Development, Quality, Talent, and the Transformation Office and key stakeholders to support the business.Skills and attributes for successUnderstanding of the Assurance business, particularly the audit practice.Ability to turn ideas into actionable communications activities; think strategically and be a point of integration for the practice.Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, managing multiple priorities effectively.Ability to synthesize complex information into simple, high-impact messages.Ability to coach and counsel team members and direct reports – to serve as a ‘player-coach’.To qualify for the role you must haveMinimum of 10 years of experience in communications.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field; MBA or master’s degree desired.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise, and easily digestible manner for broad audiences.Strong business acumen and understanding of how environmental factors affect the firm, practice, markets, and solutions.Confidence in presenting complex or nuanced ideas, anticipating potential objections, interpreting responses to present alternative solutions and influence others.Excellent project management, teamwork, and interpersonal skills – ability to identify and coordinate resources where applicable, detail-oriented.Poise to professionally interact with all levels of leadership.What we look forWe are ultimately looking for innovative, creative thinkers with strong business acumen who are strategic, collaborative, and consultative communicators.What we offerWe offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,500 to $251,200. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $156,600 to $285,400. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
