That’s what makes us Roche.The Solutions Marketing & Roche Academy Chapter within the Marketing & Customer Insights organization at Roche Diagnostics Solutions (RDS) is offering an exceptional opportunity to become the next Sub-Chapter Lead, Customer Area Marketing.In this position, you will lead a diverse team of passionate and high-performing marketers (across multiple continents) who will partner with the various Customer Area lifecycle teams and affiliates to develop promotional marketing strategies and content creation for key product launches and prioritized on-market products. To do this effectively, you will need to partner with key stakeholders in the organization and champion our Gold-Silver-Bronze initiatives across Customer Areas, affiliates and regions as well as other global functions. You will have the opportunity to shape the function, determine priorities, drive decisions and be responsible for the growth and development of team members.The Opportunity
As a Sub-Chapter Lead, Customer Area Marketing, you will serve as a member of the Solutions Marketing & Roche Academy Leadership Team and help create the overarching strategy and vision. Inspiring and leading a team of over 20 Global Marketing Managers that partner with all four Customer Areas in RDS will be a key part of your role.You will manage resources and people for personal, skill, and career development, and coach the team to successfully operate in a cross-functional, highly matrixed environment so that activities and decisions are founded on the best interest of the wider Roche organization and its customers. Guiding the team in determining priorities and allocating resources effectively will be crucial. You will also ensure alignment with other global functions (e.g., RIS Marketing, Digital Marketing, Integrated Marketing) to jointly deliver on global marketing priorities.Key responsibilities:You will oversee the delivery of the marketing strategy, messaging, campaign and asset development.You will ensure the team effectively develops, manages and deploys product marketing content across global markets using a multi-tiered channel approach.You will lead the team to plan, develop and implement innovative marketing strategies while using metrics/analytics to determine success and continuous improvement actions.You will drive harmonization and improvement of marketing processes to continuously elevate the impact of the team.You will cultivate a great place-to-work environment by creating a stimulating and motivating workplace capable of attracting, engaging, retaining and developing high-performers.Who you are
You have a university degree in Marketing/Business and/or Sciences, preferably with an MBA, and possess 12+ years of relevant experience in marketing on a local, regional, or global level in healthcare, including roles at Roche.You bring more than 3 years of experience in leading and developing a marketing or product management function, demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and persuasion skills, along with the ability to work effectively across an organization.You have experience in leading, managing, coaching, and motivating staff with the ability to grow and develop. Additionally, you have established knowledge of the Roche Diagnostics organization and a strong personal network across different teams within the company.You are experienced in launching several products, achieving commercial objectives, and creating promotional marketing strategies while owning execution. You also possess a deep understanding of various Customer Areas (Molecular Lab, Pathology Lab, Core Lab, Near Patient Care), and affiliate needs with customer focus.You can lead interactions with senior internal stakeholders and regions/affiliates and can leverage your strong personal network across different teams.Relocation benefits are available for this posting.Who we are
