A variety of soft skills and experience may be required for the following role Please ensure you check the overview below carefully.Principal Associate, Learning Experience Designer - Enterprise Curriculum and ExperiencesThe Enterprise Curriculum and Experiences (ECE) Learning Design team brings together human-centered and instructional design practices to create high impact learning experiences for associates across Capital One. We power development experiences that span a wide range of audiences and topic areas including Leadership Development, Onboarding, and Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging (DIB). Our team works collaboratively with business leaders and HR partners to research, design and develop learning experiences that build critical skills and capabilities across the enterprise.
As part of the Enterprise Curriculum and Experiences Learning Design team, you will work closely with business leaders and HR staff to consult, design, develop, manage and analyze learning experiences for associates across Capital One. You will play a critical role in making sure our learning experiences are designed with user and business objectives in mind.
Roles and Responsibilities
Consult with business clients to uncover learning and performance needs for people leaders across the enterprise; recommend and prioritize targeted learning solutions based on rigorous consulting.
Leverage human-centered design principles to build innovative, non-traditional learning experiences that improve leadership capabilities.
Create robust measurement and evaluation frameworks to capture the impacts of initiatives on overall performance and organizational effectiveness.
Partner with diverse teams within Capital One to align learning efforts to various organizational imperatives.
Develop digital learning content including slide decks and job aids, including creation and editing of training materials.
Identify performance gaps and determine the cause in order to recommend the most appropriate learning solutions.
Manage relationships with vendors and third parties as required.
Project Management as required.
Basic Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
At least 3 years of experience in Training Design or at least 3 years of experience in Development Delivery or a combination.
At least 2 years experience developing learning solutions using industry standard eLearning development tools including, but not limited to Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Elucidat.
At least 2 years of experience in vendor management.
At least 2 years of experience in client consulting.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 4 years of experience building learning solutions for People Leadership in a corporate environment.
At least 4 years of experience in client consulting.
At least 3 years of experience in Project Management.
