The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Retail/Consumer Goods industry and a proven track record in implementing and consulting TPx software systems. This role involves leading consulting engagements, developing strategic recommendations, and driving trade promotion optimization initiatives for our clients.To be successful, we're looking for candidates who exemplify Cognizant's

At the Director Level, this means driving cost effective end-to-end execution of consulting engagements, cultivating practice innovations, achieving financial targets (utilization, expenditures, revenue, margin), promoting Cognizant Consulting's vision & mission, and building high performing teams across the organization.ResponsibilitiesClient Engagement:

Lead and manage TPx consulting projects for Retail / CPG clients, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client objectives.Strategic Analysis:

Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, TPx software vendor landscape, and promotional effectiveness to identify opportunities to optimize trade spending ROI.Solution Development:

Develop and implement Trade Promotion Optimization strategies, including data and AI technology, business process, and organizational strategies.Stakeholder Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on TPx matters.Team Leadership:

Mentor and guide junior consultants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance team environment.Thought Leadership:

Contribute to the development of thought leadership materials, including whitepapers, case studies, and industry presentations.Business Development:

Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and participating in client pitches.Qualifications*

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.*

Experience:

8+ years of experience in the CPG industry with hands-on experience as TPx user and/or TPx SaaS software implementation projects.*

Expertise:

Deep understanding of TPx closed loop process including trade budget setting, promotion and account planning, claims and settlement, and trade promotion ROI analyses.*

Analytical Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop actionable insights.*

Communication:

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.*

Leadership:

Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a team of consultants.*

Client Focus:

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.Work Authorization* Cognizant will only consider applicants for this position who are legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship (H-1B, L-1B, L-1A, etc.)Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 - $160,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits:
