The position of
Director, Global Media and Marketing Finance (FP&A)
is responsible for providing financial guidance and support to the Global Media and Marketing organization. This role is critical in shaping our media and marketing investment strategy, integrating the global markets, tying spend to product and category success, and ensuring financial transparency across marketing. The Global Marketing Finance Director will work closely with Finance leadership in North America and EMEA, alongside cross-functional teams in Marketing and Commercialization, as their key business partner, offering proactive recommendations and solutions. As part of a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment, this role requires a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, aptitude to get into the details, and the ability to build cross-functional relationships to drive business success.
Essential Functions
Lead the financial management and oversight of our Global Non-Working Media budget , and oversee the consolidation of our Global Working Media investment from the regions
Provide financial leadership through strategic financial insights
and partner with cross-functional teams to support business growth
Direct monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting processes
as well as monthly variance analysis, opportunity and risk updates to the guidance forecast
Prepare and present monthly financial review packages
for senior leadership, offering actionable insights and driving follow-up actions through P&L implementation.
Analyze productivity drivers,
identify risks and opportunities to business performance , work cross functionally to implement or support recommended actions
Establish Best in Class processes to ensure Working and Non-Working Media Investments are
controlled, reconciled, reviewed and analyzed
Develop and refine financial models
to support scenario analyses, business cases, and forecasting efforts, enabling the organization to make informed decisions in a dynamic environment.
Mentor and guide junior team members , leading a small team and fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
Take ownership of
ad hoc financial analysis , supporting key initiatives and special projects as assigned by leadership.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
10+ years of relevant work experience
in Finance/Accounting, with proven experience in financial analysis and budgeting.
Experience working cross-functionally and
acting as a financial leader in a high-growth, fast-paced environment .
Demonstrated
leadership experience , with the ability to manage competing priorities and lead projects to completion.
Strong
analytical and organizational skills , with a high degree of accountability and attention to detail.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
(strong financial modeling skills required) and other Office applications.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
