The Social Media Manager must be a highly creative, analytical, and strategic thinker with excellent communication and organizational skills. Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) across various social media platforms, ensuring content is timely, relevant, and engaging.
Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'Social' way while cultivating leads and sales, ensuring a positive and interactive community presence.
Analyze and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns and strategies, utilizing analytics tools to gauge engagement levels, audience growth, and overall performance.
Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, trends, and technologies, applying this knowledge to enhance social media presence and engagement.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., public affairs, multimedia teams) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions to support broader communication goals.
Manage social media advertising campaigns, budgeting, and execution, ensuring optimal use of resources for maximum impact.
Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing, preferably within a government, military, or defense setting.
Strong understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) and analytics tools, with the ability to adapt strategies to changing platform algorithms and audience behaviors.
Experience in content creation, including writing, editing, and graphic design, tailored for social media engagement.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions and have the ability to create reports that are unique to brand.
