This individual will report into the Head of the Office of the CTO. Works collaboratively with the Business Management office and with leadership across the technology organization to help lead the strategy of Overall Technology, Talent, Skill & Workforce and dashboarding the same in the Technology organization. As pioneers in index, ETF, and ESG investing, we are always inventing new ways to invest.This is a strategic role to carry on the vision and guidance of the Chief technology office.What you will be responsible forAs the Business management strategy lead you will:Partner with the CTO and Head of OCTO in providing technology vision and direction for the enterprise.Be responsible for driving focus and prioritization within the IT organization through establishing strategic planning and governance principles and processes.Collaborate with the broader Technology team in developing the Technology resource strategy.Oversee the evolution of the multi-year strategy of the organization.Coach and work with the workforce strategy lead and be responsible for The Talent, Resource and workforce strategy for the CTO Organization.Coach and provide direction for the communications strategy lead and be responsible for the Marketing and communications strategy of the Technology organization.Collaborate well with the Business management office lead and the team to ensure execution of the strategy.Establish relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the right engagement and alignment is achieved on global goals.What we valueExcellent communication skills and confidence in dealing with various levels of the organization, both internal and external.Strong People management experience.Strategic mindset required for communicating the overall strategic elements in the Technology organization.Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and adapt quickly to changes.Ability to think critically and translate requirements into actionable initiatives.Current knowledge of market trends in the world of a chief technology officer.Senior level presentation skills.Education & Preferred QualificationsDegree qualified.A minimum of 18+ years of experience.2+ years of relevant experience with developing technology strategy, presentations, talent strategy, communication strategy.Financial Services background.Additional requirementsAbout State StreetWhat we do.

$135,000 - $210,000 Annual. The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
