We tell AWS’s most important and interesting stories to educate customers about what is possible when you build on AWS.As a Senior Product Marketing Manager for cloud infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to develop the messaging and marketing strategy for the most innovative AWS capabilities that empower customers to build nearly anything they can imagine and transform their business. You will be creating compelling content to help customers understand use cases and value propositions, and working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver marketing programs that drive AWS thought leadership and customer engagement. You will also work with the engineering teams to shape the product vision and prioritize features. You will get to work on a new and rapidly growing business and have a big impact every day.The ideal candidate has a background in cloud infrastructure and technology combined with a passion for storytelling and experience developing complex portfolio-level messaging for a global technology company. We’re looking for an excellent writer and creative thinker who can become fluent in AWS’s communication style, tone, and voice and then influence and maintain organization-wide consistency for written communication and message delivery. The role requires meticulous attention to detail, a collaborative working style, and ability to articulate the most complex technical concepts in terms that make sense to customers, press, and the public. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in the development and delivery of AWS’s most important messages and stories.This position is in Seattle WA area. Relocation offered from within the US only.Key job responsibilitiesLead cross-portfolio messaging and content strategy from ideation and delivery, to measurement and evaluation.Develop high-impact messaging, storylines, and content, including executive materials, web copy, keynote scripts, and presentations.Define marketing strategy for thought leadership to support strategic initiatives.Deliver marketing plan and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to execute and measure activities and campaigns.Test and refine new marketing approaches and channels to reach and engage key audiences.Partner with sales, marketing, and the AWS’s PR and Communications organization to identify opportunities to improve messaging resonance and perceptions across audiences.Work at both the strategic and tactical level of champion bold and creative ideas.Advise others on their messaging and content to improve quality, clarity, and impact.Work effectively across AWS with groups such as engineering, digital marketing, sales, business development, and evangelists to achieve our joint business goals.About the teamAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.
