Job Description:
It is an exciting time to join our company's Global Cardiometabolic & Respiratory Team, as we build an industry leading (CMR) business and aspire to impact cardiovascular disease on a global scale. We have made significant progress advancing our broad pipeline this year. Additionally, we expect eight approvals across our broad cardiometabolic portfolio in the next five years. The Cardiometabolic business is a top corporate priority and expected to be a key growth driver for our company.
These three Associate Director roles, Healthcare Provider (HCP) Strategy, Scientific Strategy, and Go to Market Planning - Global Marketing for an investigational drug, will be responsible for supporting key commercial initiatives related to the late-stage development and launch success for an asset projected to become a multi-billion-dollar blockbuster. These are business-critical roles that will be instrumental in helping our Company build a leadership position in Atherosclerosis and contribute to establishing cardiovascular as a key growth driver for our Company. The roles report to the Executive Director, Strategy Lead and will collaborate broadly with cross-functional partners to support enterprise-wide commercialization preparedness.
The Associate Directors will play an important role in supporting the commercial transformation and leadership of our launches, including new ways of working, embedding advanced analytics, evolving the commercial models and building value for patients, payers and healthcare professionals.
Primary Responsibilities for these roles will be divided among other Global Associate Directors and may include, but are not limited to the following:
Support the development of a Scientific Leader engagement strategy that optimizes the customer experience and minimizes points of friction, including medical education, congress strategy and expert input/consulting agreements.
Embed Scientific Leader insights into the development of all brand elements to contribute to the development of a robust brand and portfolio strategy with clear product differentiation.
Support medical education initiatives to increase awareness of an investigational drug and the evolving ASCVD disease state, and drive business growth in key markets.
Lead key congresses end to end strategy and execution across the key congresses worldwide and highlighting Our Company's leadership and innovation in the ASCVD space.
Contribute to and support ongoing marketing framework development and strategic choices through the L3 (Listen, Lead, Learn) framework.
Contribute to mapping the patient and provider journey in collaboration with internal & external partners to identify roadblocks that impact optimal treatment; and activate new innovative solutions to enable positive patient outcomes throughout the journey.
Drive the development and deployment of strategic initiatives to deliver the broader an investigational drug strategic opportunities and address key barriers. This is inclusive of defining the operational details of strategic initiatives and leading key executional workstreams in coordination with cross-functional partners, and Regional/Local stakeholders.
Collaborate with internal cross-functional team members and external agency partners to develop the global framework and drive tactical execution for campaigns (unbranded and/or branded) and promotional assets that align with strategic opportunity areas and deliver upon key business priorities.
Collaborate with Global Marketing, Regional Commercial Leaders, international markets and cross-functional partners (medical, policy, outcomes research, access, advocacy, etc.) to optimize the value of an investigational drug.
Manage communications aligned with the global engagement model for an investigational drug, updating key markets on launch readiness, key timelines, and market events.
Execute global marketing engagement model meetings (virtual and live) with key HHI partners and key cross-functional partners, which are critical to co-create the global strategy and ensure pull through.
Support the management of a large commercial budget across multiple strategic and planning functions. This will include elements of procurement, agencies, and vendors.
As a member of the Global Marketing organization, partner with colleagues in the Global Cardiometabolic Respiratory Franchise to invest in each other’s development, build a culture of inclusivity, speak-up and stretch our collective team’s thinking by challenging the status quo for the purpose of creating stronger outcomes.

Bachelor's Degree
Preferred Education:
Advanced Degree (MBA)
Required Experience and Skills:
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience across marketing, sales, market access or related experiences in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries (and at least 4 years demonstrated in-line marketing experience required.)
Marketing experience in healthcare focused roles with responsibility for HCP, Scientific, or Planning strategy and tactical execution, inclusive of Unbranded Disease Awareness/Education or Branded promotional campaign development, is strongly preferred.
Affinity for data and analytic synthesis leading to data-driven decision making
Prior launch experience preferred, but not required.
