Do you have the following skills, experience and drive to succeed in this role Find out below.Position SummaryWe are seeking an Analyst to support Constellation Brands’ innovation organization in the end-to-end development of bold product innovation for our industry-leading beer business. This individual will focus on creating and optimizing brewing and product development processes, influencing and managing brewing operations, and supporting new liquid development at the Constellation Brands Pilot Brewery in Chicago. The Analyst is responsible for partnering with and supporting our Brewing and Innovation teams in coordinating day-to-day operations, and partnering with the business leads to ensure projects are on time and target for in-market launch.This position is uniquely situated at the intersection of Innovation, Marketing, Beer R&D, and brewery operations and will work closely with these cross-functional partners to translate new product ideas from concept to reality.Specific Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject ManagementSupport new product innovation from liquid idea to commercialization, working with partners to ensure operations run successfully.Partner with cross-functional teams in support of new product development projects and leverage resources as needed to facilitate process.Manage multiple, simultaneous brewing and liquid development workstreams to deliver on targeted outcomes and delivery dates.Brewery Operations & CoordinationOwn and manage the operations schedules and coordination of brewing details with the R&D and Innovation teams.Support the pilot brewery team in managing financials and budgets for the pilot innovation brewery and liquid development initiatives.Plan with the lead brewer the ordering ingredients, facilitating brewing schedules, and working with external brewing teams that drive the development of our liquid innovations.Coordinate with internal CBI team to ensure all regulatory standards are maintained at Pilot Brewery.Support the cross-functional team in ensuring scale-up as products are developed at other CBI brewery locations for launch.New Product DevelopmentParticipate in ideation/brainstorming sessions and concept/proposition development.Communication, Collaboration, and Coordination Across TeamsPartner with Innovation Insights for planning liquids for consumer insights and testing.Partner with Innovation Marketing team on liquid development, brand creation, and packaging design for new liquid projects.Be the voice and subject matter expert of liquids that are developed at the Pilot Brewery location.Job RequirementsWe’re looking for someone with a passion for the beer industry and a genuine interest in/knowledge of cutting-edge brewing styles – you love beer and are excited to learn more about it.Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in the beer industry or in a CPG company with experience in operations, project management, or marketing with a focus on innovation (CPG, beer, wine, or spirits industry preferred; food or beverage industry experience desirable). Bonus: Previous brewing experience or experience working in brewing-related spaces.Expertise leading strong cross-functional teams and skill in working and influencing within a matrix environment.Both humble and proactive – willing to roll up your sleeves to do what it takes to get the job done.Comfort building new processes and procedures from scratch, and the leadership and communication skills to gain buy-in and drive implementation. Energized by ‘building the plane while flying it’.Experience directing and collaborating with external partners (e.g., R&D, Operations, External suppliers).Ability to consistently deliver clear, succinct and relevant written and verbal communication.Positive and collaborative – innovation is a team sport, and this role provides the opportunity to broaden your skill set and work with almost every department within the organization.Passion for problem solving and developing new and improved ways of working for a small, agile, but effective team.Exceptional organizational and project management skills - Experience managing complex projects, priorities and budgets with a focus on driving for results.Fosters open, honest, and direct communication while maintaining sensitivity to confidential information.Belief in the power of the team, enthusiasm for driving a strong internal culture, and a sense of humor (optional, but trust us – it will help).Bachelor’s degree or job experience in relevant field preferred (Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Management, etc.).Location : Chicago, IllinoisJob Type : Full timeJob Area : Insights & InnovationThe salary range for this role is:
$78,800.00 - $118,200.00This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
