Position Overview:
As the Head of Marketing, you will be a key player in delivering our business mission and amplifying our brand's value to customers. This is a unique opportunity to shape our brand's voice, craft compelling narratives, and drive awareness and engagement through creative, strategic marketing efforts. This position requires an analytical mindset, a flair for creativity, and a proven track record in driving successful B2B digital marketing campaigns.
What your day to day will look like:
Brand Strategy & Positioning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy to establish and promote a new category of companies. Position Walnut as a thought leader and innovator in this space by crafting compelling messaging that highlights the differentiated value in what Walnut does and value being delivered to customers.
Content Creation & Messaging:
Craft compelling content and messaging that effectively communicates our value proposition. Oversee the creation of marketing materials, including sales presentations, website content, email campaigns, social media, and print materials.
Marketing Campaigns:
Design, execute, and optimize marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness, engage customers, and drive lead generation. Measure and report on the performance of campaigns to ensure they meet objectives.
Market Research & Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor positioning to refine our messaging and stay ahead in the industry.
Collaboration with Leadership:
Work closely with the CEO and other key stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business goals and strategy.
Digital Marketing & Website Management:
Oversee and enhance website content, ensuring it aligns with our brand messaging and engages visitors. Manage SEO/SEM and digital advertising strategies to drive traffic and conversions.
Media & Partnerships:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry partners to amplify our brand message and drive thought leadership.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in user acquisition and growth marketing, specifically within the software development or SaaS B2B industry.
Proven success in developing and executing brand strategies and creating compelling product messaging.
Expertise in paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, affiliate, CRO and SEO.
Familiarity with acquisition analysis, A/B testing, and ad fraud detection.
Excellent business writing and communication skills, with a knack for crafting captivating and relevant messages.
A self-starter attitude with a strong track record of taking ownership and delivering impactful results.
Ability to thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
