Graphic Designer & Illustrator

We are on the lookout for a passionate Graphic Designer with a strong attention to detail and effective communication skills in design concepts. This position will partner closely with our marketing, communications, and content teams while excelling in running projects, leading concept development, and creating materials to deliver an authentic brand to our customer base. The ideal candidate can cast vision, inspire others, and highlight our values while staying relevant with new markets, trends, and consumers. This is a part-time position of 20 hours a week, with hours fluctuating based on needs. Job Tasks and Responsibilities: Conceptualizing and creating graphic design work for both print and digital use (e.g., website, social media, educational content, label creation, PDF updates). Managing daily social media posts and campaigns that correspond with new product releases. Organizing projects and adequately storing all files and artwork in our Dropbox and other storage devices. Understanding printing processes and communicating with our printing partners. Managing web content (e.g., blog, product images). Having a strong understanding of brand strategy. Mastering the creative process from ideation through implementation. Thinking critically and solving problems creatively and effectively. Brainstorming new creative concepts and designs for future labels and apparel. Ensuring all creative material is provided in the correct format for publication within given timeframes and budgets. Working within set timelines and effectively prioritizing tasks. Collaborating well within a small team and being passionate about our brand and the Specialty Coffee industry. Providing support as a team member wherever necessary. Having knowledge of building and maintaining websites is a big plus. A strong background in illustrations is a big plus but not a deal breaker. Qualifications: 3 years of experience in graphic design. Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and the web. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and other graphic design software. A compelling portfolio of work across a wide range of creative projects. Strong analytical skills.
