Support Tulane athletics programs and external departments to promote and enhance, through digital, video and social media, the brand of the Tulane University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director, Creative Services, this person serves as one of the point people for comprehensive integrated digital, communications and marketing strategies, which utilize online communications tools, with special attention to creative video and social media. The successful candidate should be highly organized, detail-oriented, a good communicator and possess the ability to handle numerous assignments in a timely manner with the flexibility to adjust to unscheduled developments involving immediate attention. Must be proficient in video shooting and editing.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

A broad understanding of creative video trends and technologies.

Working knowledge and real-world experience in planning, managing and executing video and digital media initiatives.

Solid working knowledge of industry standard software and applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, etc.

Efficient audio and video editing skills.

Must possess the ability to learn new technologies, techniques and solve problems quickly and completely.

Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.

Strong sense of professionalism & judgment in response to issues in the public social media space.

Ability to interact effectively with coaches, administrators, student athletes, media and vendors.

Strong organizational, management and leadership skills.

Proven ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize assignments and meet deadlines.

Strong writing skills.

Availability to work flexible work schedule including nights and weekends.

Possible travel with sport teams for select away contests.

Thorough knowledge of NCAA and American conference rules and regulations.

Required Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience in the marketing, video or public relations field.

Professional experience in digital design, video editing and video shooting capabilities.

OR

High School diploma/equivalent and 9 years' experience in the marketing, video or public relations field.

Professional experience in digital design, video editing and video shooting capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree.

Previous experience at the NCAA DI level.
