Job Description:
ABA is seeking a Senior Designer with a desire to problem-solve to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing creative for print and motion graphics that meet marketing and communication strategies while uniting our brand voice across all marketing touchpoints.
This position will play a lead role on a portfolio of projects and flex their communication skills during stakeholder presentations. This role will be responsible for ensuring high-quality work across a wide range of applications including print, web, video, social, and on-site events.
The Senior Designer will search for inspiration from ABA’s dynamic internal partners and will learn and thrive on a highly collaborative and experienced team. This position is involved in all creative aspects of the design studio, from creating impactful static visuals to video editing and execution of animations and motion graphics.
Bring a great sense of design, typography, and visual hierarchy and be a “visual” journalist, taking editorial or marketing concepts and effectively executing them in a variety of media. Demonstrable ability to work independently and multitask while meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.

Key Duties:
• Conceptualize and design print and digital creative for campaigns and individual promotional pieces.
• Create motion graphics that communicate technical and complex information in a simple, clear manner for broad understanding.
• Partner with the Studio team to build and edit videos.
• Collaborate with internal partner teams to create high-quality work on time, on budget, and on strategy.
• Participate in brainstorms, translate that thinking into beautiful presentation decks, and communicate concepts to stakeholders.
• Help ensure the ABA visual brand is consistently applied to all ABA communications.
• Manage workflow through the lifecycle of a project including meeting with stakeholders, independently managing projects, and producing final files that are optimized for design intent and vendor capabilities.
• Technical and creative proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Figma, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Powerpoint.
• Work efficiently while quickly adapting to shifting needs, balancing several distinct initiatives at any given time.
• Anticipate the visual communication needs of the ABA and spearhead new initiatives.
• Be a source of positivity, inspiration, creativity, and fun.
• Other duties as assigned by business needs.
Requirements:
• 7+ years’ experience working in a senior designer capacity.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Omni-Channel experience creating graphics for print, digital, web, social, on-site, and video.
• Actively use creative thought to identify innovative solutions when telling stories including storyboarding, editing footage, and motion graphics/animation.
• Detail-oriented and highly developed organizational skills including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong online portfolio of work demonstrating a depth of print, motion graphics and video editing experience required.
• Understanding of the banking industry and Association experience preferred.
• Ability to manage time effectively and autonomously.
• Ability to interact professionally with staff across the association at all levels.
• Actively shares information and operates transparently while collaborating with other designers, directors, and marketing managers to avoid confusion and ensure effective teamwork.
• Ability to travel (<20%).
Salary Band Range:
$68,177.00 - $95,477.00 - $122,777.00
