Our growing Process Flow Technologies Business is looking for someone to take our digital experience to new levels and develop and deploy strategic digital experience capabilities within the vacuum brands. This position will report directly to the Vacuum Marketing Manager and will have significant opportunities for broader leadership exposure and career development within Ingersoll Rand.
Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for lead generation through web initiatives, brand websites, SEO and SEM campaigns that increase web traffic and conversions for our vacuum brands in North America.This role is pivotal to the organization because it will have responsibility for critical demand generation properties and capabilities (ie. websites, social media channels, paid search, search engine optimization) that enable customers to connect with our business and solutions. By taking a customer-centric approach, we have the opportunity to create real value throughout the customer buying journey and deliver an overall competitive advantage in the market. This includes how we connect customer inquiries into our CRM systems to ensure optimal lead management through our commercial teams/partners. The right candidate will bring a combination of great experience in: creating digital marketing strategy, executing growth strategies for paid search and search engine optimization, solving complex problems and building partner relationships.
Responsibilities:
Website: business unit site ownership for strategy/governance in coordination with the central web development team. Evaluate and execute website development roadmaps and enhancement projects to improve the UX of brand websites to:
Develop a comprehensive user journey experience improvement strategyOutline key strategic keywords and achieve regular SERP improvements via a dedicated SEO strategies for brands and strategically important industries.Ensure technical data is up to date.Maintain product pages.Adds and modifies web content using a CMS (content management system).Identify opportunities and lead projects to introduce new tools and integrations, examples including ChatBot and Sizing/Selection Tools .
User Experience Improvements: improving the digital experience across all touch points and ensuring we maximize our potential ROI.eCommerce: working with product management team and agencies as required to develop and deliver an ecommerce strategy to increase online sales across new and existing ecommerce channels.Social Media: working with the central social media team to develop and deliver a comprehensive social media strategy aligned to the overall business line strategy.Web Tickets: manages the web content ticket queue, responsible for submitting and maintaining developer tickets in partnership with central web support team.Digital Applications: business unit stakeholder and subject matter expert for non-demand generation, customer facing applications within the vacuum business.Demand Generation:
Lead Management Champion: support marketing and sales to deliver profitable growth. Utilize CRM systems metrics to drive visibility and ownership to ensure our customers have a positive experience and to maximize conversion from marketing programs.Search Engine Advertising: lead the overall strategy and governance for paid search campaigns in coordination with the central team and business unit team. Optimize impact and manage changes dynamically with market conditions and business focus. Controls the budget for search engine advertising and other web enhancement projects.Search Engine Optimization: lead the overall strategy and governance for optimization of content across global website - serve as subject matter expert and help facilitate projects initiated from Marketing Manager and business unit partners.Channel Partner Support: working with our distributor network to offer advice and training to improve their digital CX, manage existing channel partner program and co-op PPC campaigns.Digital Insights: ability to report on and interpret website analytics using common platforms such as GA4. Lead the identification and utilization of critical marketing insights in partnership with the marketing operations team. Serve as subject matter expert for analyzing trends and identifying opportunities to further optimize program performance.
Regional alignment with global brand and graphic standards as well as coordination of regional trade shows, webinars, and events.
Requirements:
6+ years experience in digital marketing, integrated marketingBachelor's degree in marketing, computer science, or a related field with experience in web or digital marketing or related web development. MBA is a plusDemonstrated experience with a CMS/CRM solution, web optimization, email marketing, SEO/SEM, PPC, Google Analytics/web analytics, content marketing, and interactive advertising.Position may require some travel. Travel could include international and domestic.English fluency is required. Additional languages a plus.
