The Community Media Coordinator oversees and directs the operations of CCX Create, the public access center operated by CCX Media. The position will be responsible for strategic outreach, studio management, and volunteer training. This individual is a people person and a self-starter, they are full of ideas and initiative to engage people of all ages. The Community Media Coordinator is also a troubleshooter who can creatively solve problems with equipment and volunteers. This is a full-time, in‑person position, and the schedule is Tuesday through Saturday.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic outreach plans that further the mission of CCX Media.
- Facilitate relationships in the community and organize outreach opportunities.
- Provide technical and organizational assistance to volunteers using CCX Create equipment and facilities.
- Track and report facility and equipment use as well as volunteer engagement.
- Teach classes and maintain the training curriculum and class materials for portable production, editing, studio production, and podcast production courses.
- Organize and host volunteer engagement events.
- Research opportunities and adapt to challenges in community media.
- Serve on CCX Create Action Committee.
- Update website, social media, and email newsletters with regularity.
Requirements and Skills
- 2–4 year college degree in TV/media production and/or equivalent production experience preferred
- Experience with managing volunteers in an organizational setting a plus
- Solid organizational skills
- Instructional teaching experience
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Fluency in English
