Company DescriptionPicasso & Wine is a locally owned Paint & Sip Art Studio located in Reno, NV. We offer 2-3 hour art classes to the public and host private events for groups and businesses. Our studio provides a full bar serving wine, beer, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, creating a fun and creative atmosphere for all participants.
Role DescriptionThis is a part-time on-site role for an Art Instructor-Assistant at Picasso & Wine in Reno, NV. You will need to have the ability to command an audience and guide customers through a step-by-step painting in 2-3 hours. Set up and clean up at events. Contribute new classes/workshops.Must always be reliable, punctual and presentable.Experience in art/painting or teaching experience is preferred. Must be at least 21 years old.
QualificationsExperience in teaching preferred but not requiredStrong background in acrylic paintingPassion for creating and sharing art with othersExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work well in a social and interactive environmentPrevious experience in art instruction is a plusArt education or related field is beneficial
