JOB SUMMARYThis position Is responsible to develop either graphic or structural solutions for customers, adding value and getting CTOs. Is responsible to evaluate different packaging alternatives, and get conclusions to develop packaging solutions. Need to have a problem solving mentality, initiative. Has to be customer focused to communicate in a clear way innovative projects and value added solutions.

Essential AccountabilitiesAbility to use of Graphic software CorelDRAW - IllustratorAbility to design graphic solutions using, ArtiosCad Basic and 3DAbility to present and communicate to customer’s graphic solutions focused on flexography & LithographyCapacity to train others in / graphic designKnowledge of prepress and separation of colors, for the production of printing platesUse of Store Visualizer, 3D modeling with Modo (3D model software)Use of the innotools (Shelfviewer, Innobook)Knowledge and use of allowances and scales for flexographic printing.Needs to have the ability to train others on basic tasks for the department.Ability to monetize the value of projects and understanding of how the Design group adds value.Communication skills and ability to explain assertively projects to customers Provide support and advice to our key costumers on their packaging needs and respective solutions.Basic knowledge and use of a Cad table.Advanced Knowledge of O2C system to take care of daily tasks required for this position.Ability to create innovation strategies achieving clear results that strengthen the company's positioning with customers.Ability to research and develop trends and technologies that allow the development of new opportunities.Capacity for analysis and evaluation of projects, giving conclusions.Medium knowledge of Insights and value selling technics.Able to understand and execute key strategic innovation and costs saving projects.Ability to determine structures and resistances of packaging and materials, to ensure the success of the packaging.Ability to evaluate and take decisions about automation packaging - end-of-lineAbility to understand production processes and machine limitations of the plant/plants they work with.Application of value generation tools and methodologies such Newcalc, MagicHatKnowledge about Performance Packaging Asymmetry and use of boxes' laboratory equipment (for BCT, ECT, bending tests) - Calculate boxes' structures - performance - board gradesKnowledge and use about parametric technology for automated development of structural solutions (Resizable designs).Knowledge to develops packaging projects, evaluation of logistic chains, packaging resistance, evaluation of environmental conditions, safety factors and loss.Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SWR employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.Additional duties as assigned by management

Job QualificationsPackaging Degree, product design or similar is preferred but not mandatory.3 to 5 years of previous experience.Proficiency in Artios Cad design software is preferred.Proficiency in Adobe Cloud design software is preferred.Proficient in the creation of presentation and presentation skills is preferred.Computer proficiency – MS Office, CAD, Adobe Suite is preferred.Highly motivated, self-starter able to build relationships with a wide range of individuals at all of levels and across a number of disciplines.Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferredGood project management skills, excellent communication and presentation skills
