Our retained client, a dynamic major global trade association located in the greater Washington D.C. area, is seeking an innovative and experienced Creative Director to join their team and build out the creative function at the organization.
The ideal candidate will be a versatile and highly skilled professional with a strong background in graphic design across print, video and digital, web building, B2B and B2C campaigns, email marketing and social media. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects, collaborate across departments, and deliver high-quality, creative solutions and results.

ResponsibilitiesLead strategy and development of all creative content ensuring a consistent brand across channels.Oversee visual and brand identity of significant monthly, quarterly, and special publications, working alongside various cross-functional key stakeholders.Direct and motivate a team of art directors, graphic designers, copywriters, etc.Collaborate with the marketing team in developing creative briefs, marketing plans, analyzing results, and identifying future opportunities.Lead internal brainstorming/creative sessions to generate ideas and campaign themes.Conceive and implement concepts, guidelines and strategies in various creative projects and oversee them to completion.
QualificationsBS/BA in advertising, fine art, design or relevant field; MS/MA considered an assetMinimum 10 years of experience, including hands-on, applicable experience overseeing layout of monthly publications and management of creative process, marketing, graphic design and brand developmentProven experience as a creative director or in a similar creative role, and building and mentoring a teamExcellent working knowledge and experience with a variety of design softwareUnderstanding of emerging trends and technologies, including Generative AIA strong understanding of brand development and multichannel marketing concepts, as well as design, copy and web best practices/guidelines
