Brief Description

The Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs) support instructional systems design throughout the Product Lifecycle Process, which incorporates the ADDIE methodology across all divisions of ST.This is a hybrid position in Columbia, SC

Minimum RequirementsA Master's degree in Instructional Systems Design or Adult Education from an accredited university and at least five (5) years of experience in Instructional Systems Design and developing online, instructor-led, or instructor-facilitated courses

ORIn lieu of a Master's degree, a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university and at least eight (8) years of experience developing online, instructor-led, or instructor-facilitated coursesCurrent Personnel (Security) Clearance/ Eligibility (PCL) at the Secret levelExperience applying the ADDIE methodologyExperience developing and updating online instructor-led (both in person and virtual), or instructor-facilitated distance-delivered courses in a collaborative learning environment such as Moodle, Blackboard etc.

Preferred RequirementsTen (10) or more years of experience in Instructional Systems Design, and developing online, instructor-led, or instructor-facilitated coursesExperience leading instructional development projectsExperience supporting federal agencies in the execution of security-related training, education, or certification programsExperience with virtual content producing on platforms such as Adobe Connect, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Teams Live Events, Zoom, WebEx or WebEx Preferred etc.Successful completion of the DHS's Authoring Accessible Documents Program available through the DHS OAST

Posted Salary Range: USD $60,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, and clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements and applicable employment laws.

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and is based on full-time status. Part-time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours. The estimated minimum and maximum displayed represents the broadest range for this position (inclusive of high geographic and high clearance requirements) and is just one component of Team Carney's total compensation package for employees.
