SUMMARY OF POSITIONAs a
Landscape Designer
at Clean Scapes, you will play an important role in transforming outdoor spaces. The designer will develop comprehensive proposals, manage the design processes, and ensure projects meet or exceed our quality standards and client expectations.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIESDesign and Planning:
Lead the planning and design of projects from conception to completion. Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and cost estimates, providing unique and high-quality designs.Site Analysis:
Conduct thorough analyses of sites, assessing existing conditions such as plants, soil, lighting, and architecture to ensure compatibility with proposed designs.Client Interaction:
Effectively communicate with clients and other stakeholders throughout the design and installation processes, setting realistic expectations and emphasizing the value of professional design services.Project Oversight:
Monitor ongoing projects to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications, actively making recommendations for adjustments as needed.Collaboration and Coordination:
Work closely with Enhancement Managers and Account Managers to deliver tailored design proposals and ensure cohesive project progression.Quality Control:
Perform regular quality checks to maintain the integrity of design and implementation.Sales and Pipeline Management:
Actively update and manage personal and departmental sales pipelines to track project statuses and revenue.Operational Support:
Provide specific instructions and details to operational teams to assist in project execution.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEA degree in landscape design preferred. However, while a degree is impressive, we recognize that what’s on paper doesn’t define you. Many of us have honed our craft at work rather than school. We’ll consider both as a foundation of talent.Proficiency in CAD, Photoshop, and 3D rendering software.Experience in designing commercial and/or large residential landscapes.
