Job Description
The User Researchers are responsible for capturing customer feedback to inform product strategy and design at all phases of concept creation and product development. We lead research activities to deeply understand human thoughts, feelings, motivations & behavior patterns. Using a wide range of research methods, we literally bring the customer into the room to complement traditional metrics data. We dive deep not just on what people do, but why they do it — often grounded in observation and customer behavior. Responsibilities Include: Translate business, product, and design goals into strategic research opportunities. Conduct end-to-end user research, from foundational studies to advise product direction, all the way to concept and in-the-wild testing. Take ownership of the full research process, including writing questionnaires, analyzing data, and preparing comprehensive reports. Translate user insights into actionable recommendations to help cross-functional partners make informed decisions. Lead effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders across the organization, such as Trials, BI analytics, Data Science, Design, Product/Program Management, Consumer Insights, Brand Strategy, and others. Serve as a subject matter expert, responsible for coaching and mentoring teams on best practices in quantitative user research methods and techniques. Present research findings and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to senior leadership. Work collaboratively with other researchers and product managers to create product requirement documents (PRDs), PR/FAQs, and contribute to operational planning. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in quantitative user research, and proactively identify opportunities to improve and streamline research processes.
