The Sales Designer is a brand ambassador for our luxury kitchen brand; responsible for driving sales by developing new client relationships and providing excellent customer service. A sales designer will listen to client’s needs to create the perfect design solution for each project. You will seek out and develop new client relationships with architects, interior designers, builders and end users to strengthen and expand client base. As a luxury sales designer, you will go the extra mile to ensure our client’s complete satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESDrive sales and design solutions to maximize full project potentialCreate kitchen (and other room) designs with information collected from clientsMeasure interior spaces accurately for designing and ordering cabinetsSchedules and conducts meetings and presentations with clientsProvide coverage of showroom to meet with potential walk-in clientsMaintain showroom displays for client presentationRemains the central point of contact for the client from start of project to completionWorks with technical designer and project manager to provide the best design solutions and client experience throughout projectCoordinates with subcontractors and vendorsParticipate in project milestone site visitsRepresents the company as a brand ambassador at various functionsReview drawings and orders to ensure accurate and complete delivery of order for installationPartner with Director of Retail to ensure studio operations run effectively and efficiently
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:3 + years of sales and design experience in the kitchen industry with a proven track record of driving salesBachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design PreferredHigh-end retail experience a plus
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSKnowledge of interior design space planning and residential constructionAttention to detailPresent in a professional manner and enjoy connecting with new peopleRepresent the company and brand with integrity at all timesAbility to read architectural plans and prepare drawings for design presentationsExcellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.Highly organized, able to manage all aspects of projectHigh-end retail sales experience a plusHave a positive attitude and enjoy helping and serving clientsPossess good time management skills to meet deadlinesMust be a proactive problem solver.Design and Computer skills including hand drafting, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, SketchUp
