POSITION SUMMARYThe
Event Producer
is responsible for planning and executing a wide range of events by supporting the EventDesigners. She/he will be responsible to maintain contacts and coordinate with multiple client accounts; attendevent meetings and take detailed notes of the client’s requests.
RESPONSIBILITIES Other responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Assist the Event Designer in planning and coordinating eventsAct as liaison between the customer and various departments to ensure that requests are fulfilledEnter event and sales information into event softwareWrite complete rendering specifications clearlyManage assigned accounts and eventsAttend operations meetingsEnsure the updates are made and reflected correctly in the systemReview and print change logsDetermine staffing level and put in staffing requests in a timely mannerAttend site-visits and tastings, as well as assigned eventsCoordinate with venue staff to ensure that the event runs smoothly and that any technical difficulties are addressed promptlyAssist the Event Designer in achieving monthly sales goalsReceives and responds to phone-in customers.Perform review of design elements for effectiveness, and attend event installationsDesign, print, cut, and organize events materials Ensure paperwork, digital design files, and renderings are well-organized and maintainedRun and reconcile Event Analysis ReportsBecome knowledgeable of company event site and inventoryPerform all necessary paperwork; ensure consistency and accuracyPerforms other duties associated with the position that are reasonably assigned to support the overallneeds of the business
QUALIFICATIONS:Highschool Diploma or equivalentA degree in Hospitality/Events Planning preferredA minimum of 1-year relevant work experience in event productionPreference for hospitality/food service experiencePossession of excellent communication skills on all frontsMust have good interpersonal skills and must be easily approachableMust be someone that pays keen attention to detailsGood organizational and coordinating abilitiesMust be proactive and show a great level of creativity in carrying out assigned dutiesAbility to multi-task and prioritize assignments in the face of multiple dutiesGood time-management skill is a necessary requirementExcellent decision-making skills to reduce chances of errorMust be able to work in a team environment or even lead a team if the need arisesShould have a solid background in event production and/or managementMust be proficient in MS Office Suite, and Publisher.
