As a key contributor to the success of AMDs product, you will be part of a leading team to drive and improve AMDs abilities to deliver the highest quality, industry leading technologies to market. The DC GPU Domain Validation team fosters and encourages continuous technical innovation to showcase successes as well as facilitate continuous career development.??THE PERSON: ?As a Domain Content Architect on the DC GPU Domain Validation team, you will drive balanced, scalable, and automated solutions. In this high visibility role, you will work closely with validation subject matter experts to architect and drive automatable content for feature enablement, validation, and at-scale stress.?KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: ?Drive domain validation and automation infrastructure teams to set the content vision and lead the direction to gather requirements and investigate current content frameworks and consolidate frameworks as required.On Station Configuration requirements to come up with basic configurations that are easily shareable with multiple domains and IP areasWork with domain validation teams to define software and hardware configurations to enable features and maximize validation coverageWork with extended functional teams to define system health checks before content runsWork with with at-scale operations team to ensure automatability of content created by validation engineersWorking with multiple teams, and tracking test execution to make sure all features are validated and optimized on timePREFERRED EXPERIENCE: ?Programming/scripting skills (e.g. C/C++, Perl, Ruby, Python).Debug techniques and methodologies??Extensive experience with common lab equipment, including protocol/logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.?Extensive experience with board/platform-level debug, including delivery, sequencing, analysis, and optimizationExtensive knowledge of system architecture, technical debug, and validation strategyStrong analytical/problem-solving skills and pronounced attention to detailsMust be a self-starter, and able to independently drive tasks to completion?ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: ?Bachelors or Masters degree in electrical or computer engineering + minimum 7-10 years experienceLOCATION:Austin, TX#LI-SL2#LI-HYBRIDQualifications:At AMD, your base pay is one part of your total rewards package. Your base pay will depend on where your skills, qualifications, experience, and location fit into the hiring range for the position.
