As a UX Designer and Researcher, you will be responsible for uncovering and socializing key consumer and industry insights, translating them into Consumer Experience solutions. This will require an avid dedication to learning from our consumers, mixed with a decisive mindset for action. In this role, you will work within the Oral-B ONE Digital Design & Research team to support Digital Design Discovery and Delivery, framing future innovation opportunities and executing exceptional digital experiences.
As you partner with our multi-functional team, we will expect you to plan, execute and socialize generative and evaluative research, embracing best-in-class practices and operationalizing capabilities. These will serve as the fundamentals to create consumer stories through IDCs/personas and experience maps that will allow you to deliver information architecture, wire flows and clickable prototypes, partnering with UI and Brand Expression practitioners to bring ideas to reality. After creating solutions, you will then lead the evaluation of these designs, evaluating first impressions and usability, as well as determining KPI’s to continuously measure the success of the work.
Job Qualifications
User Experience Design (UXD), User Experience Research (UXR), Design Thinking.
A bachelor's or master's degree in Digital Design, Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design Research, relevant fields such as Anthropology, Psychology, Cognitive Sciences; or, relevant certification or equivalent work experience.
Software fluency in the latest digital editing and research tools, such as Figma/Figjam, Adobe Creative Suite, research platforms and repositories, etc.
A portfolio that demonstrates strong Design Mastery in the core areas of UX Design and Research. Your portfolio will be assessed on creative excellence, storytelling, problem-solving and technical mastery.
A case study that demonstrates a foundation of key research skills, including understanding consumers’ behaviors, needs, and preferences to inform the design and development of products, services, or systems across quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.
Strong design thinking mastery to lead with a consumer-centered approach to problem-solving.
Strong communication skills with the ability to justify conceptional and directional design choices, and comfortable giving and receiving feedback.
Experience mentoring other user experience professionals.
1-5 years of design experience.
Starting Pay / Salary Range: $85,000 to $115,000
