The Public Relations, Social Media and Content team is responsible for telling brand stories that resonate with our clients' target audiences via media relations, social media, influencer and many owned content formats. A successful intern will enjoy identifying industry trends, writing social copy and press releases, monitoring social media conversations, conducting secondary research to support content recommendations and coordinating project tasks.

The ideal candidate should be a self-starter, detail-oriented, critical thinker, comfortable being part of a large team and have a passion for public relations and social media. 

Stuff you should know:

• This position is located in Madison, WI. Candidates must be located in Madison, Wisconsin.
• Target start date is mid-May 2025 and runs through the end of August, with the possibility of extending into the fall semester.
• This is a paid internship at $15 per hour.
• The PRSMC team requires summer interns to work a minimum of 32-40 hours per week. 
• Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
