We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Brand and Communications to lead Inspirato's brand identity, external communications, and oversee the execution of all marketing and communication efforts. This role will be pivotal in driving brand consistency, messaging, and positioning across multiple platforms while also collaborating with leadership to ensure the successful execution of marketing initiatives. The Director of Brand and Communications will manage copywriters and the Social Media Manager to execute comprehensive campaigns that support Inspirato’s sales, marketing, and member engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Communications & Copywriting:
Manage brand copywriting including direct mail, landing pages, blog posts, web copy, emails, paid digital, in-app copy, and push notifications
Lead the copywriting efforts to support new homes and experiences added to the portfolio, including web copy, marketing materials, and printed goods
Spearhead the creation, writing, and editing of multiple
Inspirato
magazine issues per year, including managing freelance submissions, design layout, and proofing
Act as the primary point of contact for all proofing requests, ensuring high-quality, error-free copy across platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to edit and approve changes in website messaging
Brand Management:
Collaborate with teams to develop and enforce in-home branding standards and cohesive field communications
Manage branded merchandise for the Inspirato Store, resolving fulfillment issues, overseeing inventory management, and ensuring quality product delivery
Manage the delivery of branded welcome kits for new members
Lead other brand initiatives that align with leadership’s vision
Public Relations:
Write and distribute press releases on pertinent business news, collaborating with senior leadership for approvals
Collaborate with external public relations teams
Social Media & Community Management:
Oversee the Social Media Manager who handles content creation, moderation, and metrics analysis for all organic social media efforts
Ensure social media content aligns with brand guidelines, and approve content calendars for multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Act as a backup for social media moderation and community management, ensuring a positive brand presence across platforms
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proven experience (10+ years) in brand management, communications, and at least 5+years in marketing leadership roles.
Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to detail.
Experience managing multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and performance metrics analysis.
Compensation
- $125,000 - $175,000 Base Salary
We believe in building a compensation structure that reflects the comparable market pay rate for positions at companies similar in size, revenue generation and geographic location; in addition to individual factors including seniority, performance-based merit, education/training and experience related to scope of responsibilities.
Bonus
– This position is eligible for the company’s bonus plan, to the extent offered, at a target bonus percentage of up to 12.5% of your annual salary.
