Our employees are critical to IPG's success and are instrumental in driving operational execution, strong financial performance, advancing innovation, and maintaining our leading position in the laser market.The RoleWe are seeking an accomplished and driven Director, Corporate Communications, to join IPG Photonics, located in our Marlboro, MA Global Headquarters. Reporting to the Vice President, Human Resources - Worldwide, the Director, Corporate Communications will partner with leadership to develop and execute the company's internal and external communications initiatives to enhance the company's reputation, promote its brand, and ensure clear and effective communication among employees and stakeholders.This role involves creating and implementing communication plans, developing content, and managing various communication channels and projects. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and experienced communicator with exceptional leadership and collaboration skills, thriving in a fast-paced, hands-on role. The candidate should also possess an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of building and promoting strategies to align with the organization's future vision.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and successfully execute internal and external communications programs through various media channels and support plans to strengthen the understanding of business goals, improve cross-functional communications, enhance employee engagement, and foster IPG Photonics' vision.Create and manage a wide variety of communications content including press releases, media statements, social and digital media posts, as well as key messaging documents and FAQs.Enhance and manage the company's internal employee communications portal or intranet, ensuring it is user-friendly, easy to navigate, and equipped with features that facilitate real-time connection and co-creation among employees.Collaborate closely with senior leaders on employee engagement through internal communications activities, to include writing, editing and distribution of messages from the Chief Executive Officer in addition to employee meeting materials, intranet content, policies, and procedures, etc.Lead development and production of corporate communication materials, including messaging to support critical initiatives such as mergers and acquisitions, organizational changes, as well as presentations, fact sheets, etc.Effectively supports IPG's communication to the investor community by providing robust support for shareholder meetings, annual Proxy development, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reporting, etc.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of communications efforts.Partner with the DEI Committee to further develop and execute communications strategies to strengthen the IPG's culture. Oversight may require project management skills for virtual events (webinars, for example) or in-person events that help connect our people with our culture, our leaders, and each other.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field.10+ years of experience in internal communications, with a proven record of developing and executing strategic communication plans within a complex organizational environment. Candidates with previous experience working in publicly traded organizations within the technology industry preferred.Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong relationships with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, and influence outcomes at all levels of the organization.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner with the ability to add value and generate interest with the Company's communication efforts.Proficiency in leading digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems, social media channels, and employee engagement platforms.Demonstrated project management skills inclusive of management of scope, budget, and deadlines.Highly organized and detail-oriented; hands-on leader enjoys balancing strategic planning and tactical execution.Demonstrates a degree of honesty, integrity, and transparency; creates a trusting, collaborative and ethical work environment.Location(s):377 Simarano Drive, Marlborough, Massachusetts 01752Employment Type:
