Sr. Technical Producer

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Technical Producer who will embrace our philosophy and share their hard earned expertise to help us create an incredible experience for our players. We're picturing someone who can facilitate communication across the team, support complex workflow dependencies, identify and mitigate risks, and be a key component in our team hitting our development goals.As a Sr. Technical Producer, you are responsible for overseeing and driving the successful execution of technical initiatives with an emphasis on Security/Anti-Cheat and Online Services. While embracing our player and gameplay-first philosophy, you will help create a best-in-class experience for our players.You will create a plan to execute on long- and short-term goals. You are an excellent cross-functional partner that values and facilitates communication, are adept at identifying and mitigating risks, and have a masterful understanding of dependency chains. You will partner closely with engineering, leadership, analytics, quality verification and various central teams to deliver excellent outcomes.

What you'll do...

Lead complex initiatives and programs in technical areas such as Security/Anti-Cheat, Back-End/Online Services, etc.

Coordinate with engineering teams to drive strategic goal planning, ensuring alignment and visibility at the senior leadership level.

Tell the story of your programs and projects through roadmaps, reports, documentation, stakeholder communications and additional tools.

Enhance development processes by identifying inefficiencies and implementing improvements.

Be a conduit of communication between departments, and provide support to the team in a variety of different capacities.

Partner with department leads, supporting their teams and their priorities.

Drive features from initial requirements to release.

Plan and execute sprints and releases using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Develop long-term strategies to anticipate and address potential risks and roadblocks proactively

Ideally you will have...

7+ years of experience in a producer, project manager, or program manager role, ideally within game development.

Experience with product release and deployment management is a plus.

Proficiency in project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Dev Ops.

Experience in leading and growing direct reports to help them progress in their roles and thrive as a member of a highly collaborative production team

Familiarity with Lean or Agile software development practices

Exceptional communications skills and interpersonal skills.

Passion for collaboration and the ability to inspire others.

Extensive experience using Jira across multiple project cycles.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

$138,200 - $219,000 USD Annually

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

$126,000 - $176,300 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
