Job Overview :

We are seeking a dynamic and analytical Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis for our Digital and Marketing function. This role will be pivotal in driving financial strategy and supporting key decision-making processes that enhance the effectiveness of our marketing initiatives and digital transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics, coupled with a passion for the retail industry and digital marketing.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Financial Analysis & Reporting:

Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate marketing campaigns and digital initiatives.

Prepare and present regular financial reports, including budget vs. actual analysis, forecasts, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Analyze trends and variances to provide actionable insights to senior management.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

Lead the annual budgeting process for the digital and marketing functions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and refine forecasts throughout the fiscal year.

Performance Measurement:

Establish and track metrics to measure the ROI of marketing programs and digital investments.

Conduct post-campaign analyses to assess effectiveness and optimize future strategies.

Strategic Planning:

Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial insights and scenario analysis for new marketing opportunities and digital transformation projects.

Assist in identifying growth opportunities and cost-saving measures within the digital and marketing landscape.

Collaboration & Communication:

Partner with marketing and digital teams to understand their financial needs and provide guidance on budget management.

Communicate financial insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

Process Improvement:

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in financial planning and analysis.

Skills Required:

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, financial software).

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.

Experience working with cross-functional teams and a collaborative mindset.

Knowledge of digital marketing metrics and analytics is a plus.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) preferred.

5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on marketing or digital functions, preferably within a retail environment.
