Job Description Hello, As an up-and-coming start-up with a growing audience, we are seeking to hire a student videographer/editor/screenwriter for 1-3 minute comedic, educational skits for kids.
Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Fast turnaround
Professional video for YouTube look and aesthetics
Attention to detail
Excellent sense in pace and timing
Strong familiarity with special effects, music, and animation
Familiar with how to use a green screen
Ability to create production schedules
Storyboarding
Easy to work with
Help organizing props for each skit
Great directing skills
Has great comedic timing
Great comedy writing skills
Able to generate many creative ideas for skits
Able to edit written skits
Able to transcribe skits from YouTube to final draft
Passionate about film
Have a great artistic eye
Proficient in Final Cut Pro and other professional video editors
Experience in comedic entertainment production is a plus.
Must have access to a good quality digital camera. Must be located in the New York City area as the job is in Manhattan.
